Foods and beverages that contain caffeine, such as chocolate, coffee, tea and certain soft drinks, have stimulant properties that can make symptoms worse. For instance, caffeine

nicotine may lessen the severity of Meniere's disease symptoms.

seems to come down to what to avoid and what
to do more of. I think most of it was a collection of ordinary foods
someone has deemed to be harmful:
- caffeine
- nicotine
- sugars
- salt
- MSG
- chocolate
- alcohol
